Dr. Asif Saifuddin (MSK Day)

Dr. Asif Saifuddin is the Senior Consultant Radiologist at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. His main interests include the radiology of bone, soft tissue tumours and spinal imaging, as well as all aspects on MSK MRI. He is the author of over 200 peer reviewed papers, numerous book chapters and also Musculoskeletal MRI, a comprehensive 1,200 page text which is now into its 2nd edition published in 2016. He regularly lectures both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Imran Khan (MSK Day)

Dr. Khan started his radiology training in Glasgow before moving to King's College Hospital, London in his final year as a subspecialist trainee in MSK Imaging. This was followed by consecutive fellowships, first based at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and the second based at McGill University Hospitals, Montreal, Canada.

He joined University Hospitals of Leicester as a Consultant Musculoskeletal and Trauma Radiologist in January 2015, where he is the imaging lead for sarcoma for the Trust. He is also very keen on teaching and training and runs a charity course for FRCR on a biannual basis.

Away from work, his time is mainly devoted to his family. In his spare moments, he enjoys various sport activities.

Dr. Jozef Jarosz (Neuro Day)

Dr. Jarosz has been a Consultant at King's College Hospital, London since 1997. He is a Neuroradiologist with interests in all aspects of diagnostic imaging of the brain and spone, including stroke, epilepsy, neuro-oncological and paediatric neuroimaging.

He has been lead clinician for Neuroradiology and then Clinical Director of Neurosciences at King's College Hospital Regional Neurosciences Centre.

Dr. Ata Siddiqui (Neuro Day)

Dr. Ata Siddiqui has been a Consultant Neuroradiologist since 2007 and is based accross King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London. After completing his training in general radiology, he undertook a Pan-London Neuroradiology Fellowship, which involved working in several major neuroscience centres in London.

Ata specialises in Neuroradiology and ENT (Head and Neck) imaging. He has authored several publications and regularly reviews manuscripts for medical journals. He is a keen teacher and lectures widely, both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the Royal College of Radiologists, British Society of Head and Neck imaging and European Society of Head and Neck Radiology.

Dr. Vikas Shah (Abdominal Day)

Dr. Vikas Shah completed general and specialist gastrointestinal radiology training at the Imperial College group of hospitals and St. Mark's Hospital, an international centre for bowel disorders.

He is currently a Consultant Radiologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester and an honorary fellow if the University of Leicester. He has taught abdominal and emergency imaging at several national and international courses and has a particular passion for delivering radiology education using social media and new technology.

Vikas is the clincal lead for the JCA Seminars Interactive Imaging Series, the second edition of which takes place in June 2018. Vikas is a sub-editor of Radiopedia and in addition to his education roles, he is currently a clinical vice president of the UK Radiology Congress (UKRC).

Outside of work, Vikas is kept bust by his young children and is slowly mastering the art of Lego!

Dr. Nishat Bharwani

Dr. Nishat Bharwani BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCP FRCR, completed general radiology training on the St. George's Hospital Radiology rotation in London, followed by a Body MRI Fellowship at Barts and The London NHS Trust. This fellowship stimulated development of sub-speciality interests in gyneacological, urological and adrenal imaging.

Nishat is currently a Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London, specialising in gynaecological, urological and oncological imaging. She is a keen educator, acting as joint training programme director for the Imperial Radiology training scheme, lecturing nationally and internationally and teaching on a number of interactive workstation-based MRI course.

Nishat's research interests are mainly in the field of gynaecological imaging and she is the author of a number of peer reviewed papers and book chapters.
