JCA Cardiac Imaging seminars offer a great opportunity for Cardiologists to come together and learn about the latest developments in Cardiac Imaging. Please visit our Upcoming Seminars page for dates and information.
Cardiac Imaging allows physicians to look at the heart and its functions with minimal risk to the patient. Cardiac imaging is key to the diagnosis and treatment of all cardiovascular diseases. Cardiac imaging is done primarily by two different methods, Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT), each with its own advantages in the fight against heart disease.
A Cardiac CT scan uses a computer to create digital images from multiple x-ray images. The result is a cross sectional view of inside the patient’s body. It allows a high resolution view of the coronary arteries, great arteries and veins.

Cardiac MRI uses no x-ray exposure to the patient, magnets and radio-frequency waves are used instead. This produces both still and moving images of the heart and cardiovascular organs in high quality.

JCA Medical Seminars offers a hands-on Cardiac CT seminar each year, and Cardiac MRI features in our annual MRI event. Please check the Upcoming Seminars page for details.
Please see our Upcoming Seminars page for the programme on any of these subjects and more… Each course offers CPD from The Royal College of Radiologists and other organisations.
Our team thoroughly researches the most requested subjects by talking to specialists in their field. The major part of our time is spent locating the most experienced speakers available to lecture for each course.
When participants depart, we intend they leave with knowledge reinforced, possibilities renewed and spirits revived.
