About The Event
Join us to enjoy the cultural haven that is Jakarta, Indonesia in January 2023, for our Cardiac CT Level 2 course for Radiologists, Cardiologists and Cardiology Trainees.
Teaching and hands-on training will be led by level 3 accredited BSCI (British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging) clinical lead, Dr Azhar Khokhar (Consultant Cardiologist, Head of Cardiovascular Imaging, Essex Cardiothoracic Centre) and Dr Ermanno Capuano, Consultant Cardio-thoracic Radiologist at the Mid and South Eseex NHS Trust, UK. The faculty includes a mixture of consultant cardiologists and radiologists all with BSCI accreditation, and supported by GE Healthcare, Asia.
The course covers the guidelines set out by the British Society of Cardiac Imaging and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography for the level two accreditation. During the course, you will cover 150 Contrast Cardiac CT Examinations (125 contrast-enhanced cardiac CT studies and 25 non-contrast-enhanced cases) as per the BSCI Training Guidelines, and have plenty of time to discuss protocols and strategy on a one-to-one basis.
An opportunity not to be missed, this will be the first time we have provided this course in Jakarta, and we look forward to welcoming Doctors from across the region.
If you are looking to gain your BSCI Level 2 certification and feel confident in reporting CTCA independently within your hospital, this is the course for you. This course also contributes towards the 200 cases required by SCCT but please do check the SCCT accreditation guidelines for further information on their specific requirements.
