Course overview

JCA Seminars are pleased be hosting our Southeast Asia intensive Cardiac CT Level 1/ 2 course (leading to BSCI accreditation/towards SCCT) in Indonesia.

Join us for 5 days of Cardiac CT in Jakarta, as we review 150 CTCA cases with BSCI Level 3 accredited trainers from the UK

Key highlights

Led by our clinical lead, Dr Azhar Khokhar (Consultant Cardiologist, Head of Cardiovascular Imaging, Essex Cardiothoracic Centre), teaching and hands-on training will be led by level 3 accredited BSCI (British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging) trainers.

The intensive course follows the BSCI and SCCT guidelines for level 2 accreditation, and over 5 days will include formal lectures and hands-on training using GE workstations.

The course includes analysis of a total of 150 contrast enhanced cases, including coronary analysis of various pathologies, bypass grafting and extra cardiac findings etc, as required by the BSCI. Complemented by formal lectures, you will cover all relevant topics and examples of rare and interesting cases shown. After completion of the course, you will be expected to perform and dual report 25 cases in your local settings before applying for level II accreditation.

For this course, there will be a maximum of 2 attendees per workstation, and we will keep the numbers attending in-person to a maximum of 30 to increase learning potential and allow you to feel comfortable with asking questions in the small intimate group setting. As a result, early booking is essential.

Hosted at the GE Learning Institute in the South Quarter is situated in a vibrant area that offers a range of attractions and conveniences, perfect for delegates travelling to Jakarta. South Jakarta also provides easy access to the city’s business district, as well as key transportation hubs, making it an ideal spot for the Cardiac CT Course.

If you are looking to gain your BSCI Level 2 certification and be confident in reporting Cardiac CT independently, this is the course for you. This course also contributes towards the 200 cases required by SCCT but please do check the SCCT accreditation guidelines for further information on their specific requirements
