We are pleased to announce our European Level 1 and 2 Cardiac CT course led by Dr Khokhar (a level 3 trainer) and the British society of cardiovascular imaging, has now been rescheduled for Spring 2021.

Choose to attend in person, at the GE Healthcare Academy in Belgium’s capital city Brussels, or attend virtually. Please be aware, spaces are limited to 20 for face-to-face attendees but are unlimited for virtual attendees.

This specialist CT course covers the guidelines set out by the British Society of Cardiac Imaging and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography for the level two accreditation. In addition to an extensive programme, there will be time to discuss protocols and strategy with Dr Khokhar on a one to one basis.

CT Colonography for Radiologists

Welcome to our two-day CT Colonography Course, developed specifically for Radiologists.

This interactive two-day course follows the CTC training guidelines set-out by The British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology and The Royal College of Radiologists.

Over the two days you will have the opportunity to view and report a minimum of 50 cases. In addition to this, we will revise anatomy and cover the pitfalls of interpretation (incl. accurate polyp size estimation), complications and pathogenesis and epidemiology of colorectal cancer.

UK Cardiac CT Level One and Two Course

We are pleased to host our 6 monthly East of England Cardiac CT Level 1 & 2 course (accredited by SCCT), set in an informal and delightful rural setting on the Suffolk/Essex border.

Teaching and hands-on training will be led by level 3 accredited BSCI (British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging) trainers and led by our clinical lead, Dr Azhar Khokhar. The faculty includes a mixture of consultant cardiologists and radiologists all with BSCI accreditation.

The course follows the BSCI guidelines for level 2 accreditation, and over 5 days will include formal lectures and hands-on training and analysis of a total of 150 cases as required by the BSCI. The case mix will include 25 non-enhanced studies, coronary analysis of various pathologies, bypass grafting and extra cardiac findings etc. The formal lectures will cover all relevant topics and examples of rare and interesting cases shown.:

After completion of the course, you will be expected to perform and dual report 25 cases in your local settings before applying for level II accreditation.

For this course, there will be a maximum of 2 attendees per workstation, we keep the numbers attending to a maximum of 24 to increase learning potential and allow you to feel comfortable with asking questions in the small intimate group setting. As a result, early booking is essential. Each candidate will have the opportunity to see live scanning.

If you are looking to gain your SCCT Level 2 certification and be confident in reporting Cardiac CT independently, this is the course for you.

British PET/CT Course

We are delighted to announce our first ever, comprehensive British PET/CT Course, developed exclusively for Nuclear Medicine/Radiology Trainees, Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physicians, and Consultant Radiologists with an interest in Nuclear Medicine.

This three-day CPD course will cover Oncological PET/CT primarily, whilst also including the role of PET/CT in Therapy, Prostate Cancer Imaging, PET/CT in Neuroendocrine Imaging, Neurological imaging (dementia), Cardiac imaging, and Infection/Inflammation.

Cardiac CT Level One and Two Accreditation Course (Malaysia)

We are pleased to announce our Level 1 and 2 Cardiac CT course will take place in July 2021 (delayed due to Covid-19) – suitable for Radiologists across Malaysia, Singapore and beyond.

Teaching and hands-on training will be led by level 3 accredited BSCI (British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging) trainers and led by our clinical lead, Dr Azhar Khokhar. The faculty includes a mixture of consultant cardiologists and radiologists all with BSCI accreditation.

The course covers the guidelines set out by the British Society of Cardiac Imaging and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography for the level two accreditation. During the course you will cover 150 Contrast Cardiac CT Examinations (125 contrast enhanced cardiac CT studies and 25 non contrast enhanced cases) as per the BSCI Training Guidelines, and have plenty of time to discuss protocols and strategy with Dr Khokhar on a one to one basis.

Gynae – Thursday 15th –  with Professor Niall Moore (Consultant Radiologist at Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals)
