About The Event

This Interactive study day for Radiographers will review a range of CT Colonography cases with expert tutor, Louisa Edwards. Choose to join us, or on-demand, with tickets available to Radiographers and CT Technologists from Australia, New Zealand, and beyond to watch back in your own time.

Suitable for Radiographers that are new to preparing patients for virtual Colonoscopy, as well as practitioners looking to refresh their knowledge, our one-day course will cover a range of cases, providing an in-depth knowledge in colonoscopy prep and polyp detection.

We'll discuss protocols and techniques to ensure that you are getting the best possible images, whilst looking at real-life example cases, to broaden your best practice. Providing examples of colons with pathology/un-dilated bowel areas, and how to fix them, we provide a range of case studies (2D and 3D flythrough) with an opportunity to interpret images and pathologies.

Clinical Lead – Louisa Edwards, CT Colon Advanced Radiographer Practitioner at Princess of Wales Hospital

Louisa has been a Radiographer for 16 years and has specialised in CT Colonography since 2010. Having completed a Post Graduate Certificate course in CT Colonography (2017) and MSc Advancing Professional Practice (2021) at Keele University, Louisa currently undertakes CTC training and independently reports CTC examinations. Through her Advanced practice, Louisa has supported her hospital and fellow Radiographers in reducing waiting times by over 70%, speeding up cancer treatment for patients within her hospital.
