Suitable for Radiologists, Registrars through to ENT, Maxillofacial and Otolaryngology Trainees and Surgeons, we’ll cover CT, MRI and Ultrasound cases of the neck, facial bones, orbits, sinuses, temporal bone, skull base and cranial nerves, as well as Emergency Trauma.

This intensive two-day course, led by consultants Dr Alaa Abdelgalil, Consultant Radiologist in Raigmore Hospital, NHS Highland and Dr Youssef Mentias of City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, provides an analytical approach to the differential diagnoses commonly encountered in Head, Neck and ENT imaging. Together we’ll review a range of cases focussing on:

- 08:30-08:45 – Welcome & Introduction
- 08:45- 10:45 – Oral cavity anatomy, submandibular space, tongue and floor of mouth
- 10:45-11:00 – Tea/Coffee Break
- 11:00-12:45 – Salivary glands, TMJs, mandible
From symptoms to diagnosis
- 13:30-14:45 – Hoarseness of voice (larynx anatomy and pathologies)
- 14:45- 15:45 – Tinnitus + anosmia (CN1)
- 15:45-16:00 – Tea/Coffee Break
- 16:00-17:00 – Interesting Cases & Close

Cranial nerves and skull base:
