About The Event

Join us for our first-ever New Zealand hands-on, CT Colonography Course for Radiologists, to be held in the beautiful city of Auckland. With attendees expected from Australia and Asia, we look forward to bringing our UK experience to Australasia as we work through 50 cases towards the RANZCR log book of CTC cases.

Using GE Healthcare virtual workstations, over the two days you will have the opportunity to view and report 50 cases hands-on, in addition to case-based lectures . In addition to this, we will review anatomy and cover the pitfalls of interpretation (incl. accurate polyp size estimation), complications and pathogenesis and epidemiology of colorectal cancer and diverticula cases.

Navigating through Axial prone and supine views we'll look at a range of 2D and 3D fly throughs to review haemorrhoids, malignant tumors and identify polyps that could be removed during the colonoscopy.

If you do not already work within a CTC service, we'll also provide advice on successfully setting one up within your hospital or private setting.

Faculty include UK experts Dr Joanna Kasznia-Brown, Consultant Radiologist at Bristol, and Dr Andrew Lowe, Consultant Radiologist at Musgrove Park Hospital (former BSGAR president).

Places limited due to our virtual workspace capacity – Early Booking Recommended.

12 CPD POINTS can be claimed in accordance with the CPD scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists.
