Course overview
In this course, we dive deep into the complex world of bone, joint, and tissue infections, focusing on three major conditions: osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, and tissue infections.
Key highlights
This course explores the mechanisms by which these infections develop, the clinical situations that lead to them, and the microorganisms responsible for their occurrence.
Aimed at healthcare professionals and students specialising in orthopedics, infectious diseases, or internal medicine, this course will equip participants with the knowledge needed to diagnose, manage, and treat these infections in clinical settings.
What you will learn:

- How infections spread within the body
- The physiological response to infections and their impact on bones and tissues • Common bacterial pathogens, such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus species
- The role of fungi and other less common organisms
- How different pathogens influence infection severity and treatment protocols
