Paediatric Abdominal Imaging Course

Offering an opportunity for Consultant Radiologists, Registrars, Paediatricians with an interest in Imaging, and Reporting Radiographers to share their knowledge, this Paediatric Imaging CPD event will cover best practices when acquiring images, covering the pitfalls and challenges of correctly reading images, as well as identifying pathology in the different areas.

Reviewing Abdominal X-Ray, CT, MRI, Fluro and Ultrasounds, we'll look to identify a range of conditions across Small Bowel, Kidney, Liver and Urinary Tract, whilst considering when to use imaging sequences, so you can be confident in your diagnosis.

You'll also cover Imaging of abdominal trauma and review a range of Paediatric abdominal emergencies.

Led by our Faculty expert, Dr Joanna Brown (President of the World Federation of Paediatric Imaging and current Chair of Outreach Committee of the European Society of Paediatric Imaging).

As a result of this course, you will sharpen your reporting skills and optimise scanning efficiency, following discussion from a range of speakers on recent paediatric clinical cases.
