About The Event

AVAILABLE TO ACCESS ON-DEMAND TO WATCH BACK ON YOUR UPCOMING STUDY DAY - PLEASE EMAIL LIZZY @ JCASEMINARS.COM OR BOOK HERE: https://www.jcaseminars.com/events/x-ray-interpretation-course-chest-msk-for-reporting-radiographers-1

We are pleased to be hosting our annual X-ray interpretation course virtually this April, to enable reporting radiographers, ENP’s, ANP’s, junior and senior doctors, physiotherapists and radiologists from around the world who wish to improve their x-ray interpretation skills.

Over the two days, we shall be looking at various types of pathology across CXR, AXR and MSK, offering the opportunity to broaden knowledge and sharpen reporting skills. Following discussions with both peers and experts in this field, you’ll leave this course up-skilled and more confident in the practice of X-ray image interpretation.

Day 1 will cover chest and abdominal X-ray interpretation, as we consider correct and incorrect positions of common lines and devices. Effusions, pneumothorax, consolidation, collapse and more will be discussed. In the abdomen we discuss gas patterns, small and large bowel obstruction, volvulus and more.

Day 2 will cover the musculoskeletal system including trauma, degenerative changes, common pathologies and bone tumours, amongst others.

Both days are exclusively taught by Nick Bithray, Consultant Radiographer based at The James Paget Hospital, and Robert Milner, Consultant Radiographer at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. Between them they have over 20 years formal teaching experience, on short courses, study days and at local universities.

Our study days have the ultimate goal to better support practitioners and clinicians on the shop floor, whilst also enabling management and clinical leads meet operational and strategic targets, and improving the quality of patient care within the NHS.
