UK Cardiac Intervention Course

This Interactive virtual study day will review a range of Interventional Cardiology procedures, providing a CME update for Cardiologists and Radiologists interested in interventional cardiac practice. Choose to join us live, or on-demand, with tickets available to watch the full day in your own time.

Beginning the day with Basic Coronary angiography and intervention, we'll cover access sites, angiographic views, catheter types, workhorse coronary equipment, balloons and stents. 

Providing a refresher of advanced Coronary Imaging and Physiology, we'll look at advanced intravascular imaging including IVUS and OCT as well as advanced coronary physiology with pressure wire assessment of parameters including FFR, IFR, CFR and IMR.

Before lunch we'll complete our morning sessions taking a look at Advanced Coronary Intervention, including calcium modification with rotational atherectomy and IVL and advanced CTO techniques including retrograde and ADR

After lunch, we'll provide a Cath Lab Emergency training update, covering the management of common cathlab emergencies and how to work as a team during life-threatening situations.
