Dr Stephen Connor

Honorary Reader in Head and Neck Imaging and Consultant Neuroradiologist at Kings College, London

Dr Steve Connor was appointed as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at King’s College Hospital, London in 2002. He also holds an honorary post as a Consultant head and neck radiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital with a full time clinical post. He is the past president of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging (BSHNI) and the current visiting professor for the Royal College of Radiologists and BSHNI. He has authored over 130 peer reviewed articles (h index 26), has written seven book chapters and has acted as deputy or associate editor for three journals. His main research interests are in head and neck cancer, skull base and otology imaging. He obtained a grant to fund a five year prospective study on the assessment of head and neck cancer treatment response with diffusion weighted MRI. He has also obtained funding for a study of facial nerve tractography in vestibular schwannoma surgical planning and has a grant application pending for the MRI investigation of endolymphatic hydrops/Meniere’s disease.
