Key highlights
This on-demand virtual study day will review a range of Interventional Cardiology procedures, providing a CME update for Cardiologists and Radiologists interested in interventional cardiac practice as well as Cath Lab teams and Interventional Radiographers.
Beginning the day with Basic Coronary angiography and intervention, we’ll cover access sites, angiographic views, catheter types, workhorse coronary equipment, balloons and stents.
Providing a refresher of advanced Coronary Imaging and Physiology, we’ll look at advanced intravascular imaging including IVUS and OCT as well as advanced coronary physiology with pressure wire assessment of parameters including FFR, IFR, CFR and IMR.
We’ll then present an Advanced Coronary Intervention session, including calcium modification with rotational atherectomy and IVL and advanced CTO techniques including retrograde and ADR
The final session of the day will be a Cath Lab Emergency training update, covering the management of common cathlab emergencies and how to work as a team during life-threatening situations.
