Cardiac MRI Level 1 (SCMR) Course

This two-day Cardiac MRI Level 1 Course (leading to SCMR accreditation) is ideal for Radiology and Cardiology professionals and trainees looking to accredit in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Led by Clinical Leads – Dr Bobby Agrawal (Consultant Cardiac and Thoracic Radiologist at Papworth) and Co-Director, Dr Vass Vassiliou (Senior Clinical Lecturer in Cardiovascular Medicine and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Norwich Medical School), you'll have the chance to learn a range of imaging techniques to improve your diagnosis. You'll also learn from British experts from Cambridge University, including Professor Martin Graves, as well as Papworth Hospital Radiologists, Dr Luigia D'Errico and Katharine Tweed.

Covering MRI safety and MRI Contrast agents, through to CMR of Cardiac masses and tumours, Aortic, Vascular and Valvular Disease, and Non- Ischaemic/Ischaemic Cardiomyopathy, you'll review a range of cases across Paediatric and congenital heart disease, right through to Stress Imaging and Assessing RV and LV Function.

This course is only available virtually and will be at an early UK start time of (6.30am GMT) to enable Cardiologists and Radiologists from across Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia/New Zealand to join us.

Applying for SCMR Level 1 certification after the course is very simple. After the course you'll receive a Certificate of attendance with your CME points in addition to a letter from our Faculty to confirm the subjects covered during the course and them meeting SCMR requirements.
