Key highlights

The day will commence with an exploration of the basics, focusing on lines/tubes, followed by an update on bones and soft tissues.

We’ll then delve into The Pleura, covering effusions and pneumothorax, and engage in an interactive reporting session with real-life case reviews. After a rejuvenating lunch break, we’ll examine lung consolidation and collapse before delving into a dedicated session on heart failure. The day will finish with a review of masses, emphysema, and hyperinflation.

Led by experienced instructors, Nick Bithray and Robert Milner, both Consultant Radiographers, with over 20 years of formal teaching experience, this course aims to equip you with a systematic and structured approach to X-ray interpretation, bolstering your confidence in identifying anatomy and abnormalities.  Our ultimate goal is to better support practitioners and clinicians while enabling management and clinical leads to meet operational and strategic targets, thereby improving the quality of patient care within the NHS and beyond.
