About The Event

Join us in for our brand new, TAVI CT course this March, held live online, to enable attendance of our course from around the world.

Presenting a mix of transcatheter aortic valve implantation lectures and hands-on TAVI/TAVR CT planning and interpretation sessions, we'll review and discuss a range of cases, hear about new developments in the treatment of aortic stenosis, whilst perfecting best practice.

We kick off Day 1 with anatomy of the Aortic Root and procedural considerations followed by a demonstration of AV Calcium Score and Aorta/Root measurements. We then take a look at CT Data Acquisition and reconstruction with three practice cases for annular sizing followed by three practice cases for ancillary measurements, assessing risk of coronary obstruction and implant angle. You'll then consider sizing considerations and risk of annular rupture with further practice cases. After lunch we'll look at Anatomy and Pathology of the Aorta and Iliofemoral Arteries with a demonstration of the Measurement of the Iliofemoral Arteries and more hands-on cases. We'll finish day 1 with Post-TAVI complications with Dr Anna Reid and three further cases to finish the day.

Day 2 kicks off with a session on Bicuspid Aortic Valve Anatomy for TAVR and why it is important, followed by two Bicuspid Cases [Focus on Annulus and Root Geometry]. Dr James Dundas will then review Valve in Valve: the theory followed by a demonstration of two valve in valve cases and the opportunity to review your own cases. Dr Anna Reid will then take us through Lifetime management considerations before lunch with the rest of the day dedicated to your own hands-on case reviews.

As a result of this two-day hands-on training, you'll feel more confident in TAVI/TAVR CT planning and interpretation.
