About The Event

Join our X-ray interpretation course virtually, supporting reporting radiographers, ENP’s, ANP’s, Junior Doctors, Radiology Registrars, Physiotherapists in addition to Radiologists from around the world who wish to refresh their musculoskeletal x-ray interpretation skills.

Over the two days, we shall be looking at various types of pathology, offering the opportunity to broaden knowledge and sharpen reporting skills with our unique case-based review sessions. Following discussions with both peers and experts in this field, you’ll leave this course up-skilled and more confident in the practice of X-ray image interpretation.

We'll kick off Day 1 with a look at the reporting process, moving on to Upper and Lower limb trauma with a chance to review cases within our image bank. After lunch, we'll review Axial skeleton trauma and Arthropathies before finishing the day reviwing more Xrays and reporting the findings.

Day 2 begins with a session on Bone tumours (Non-aggressive) and Normal variants with another dedicated image interpretation session looking at cases in our image bank. The afternoon then focusses on Metabolic disease and skeletal dysplasias, aggressive Bone tumours and a final hour of case image reviews to finish the day.

Both days are exclusively taught by Nick Bithray, Consultant Radiographer based at The James Paget Hospital, and Robert Milner, Consultant Radiographer at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. Between them, they have over 20 years of formal teaching experience on short courses, study days and at UK universities.

Our study days have the ultimate goal to better support practitioners and clinicians, whilst also enabling management and clinical leads to meet operational and strategic targets in improving the quality of patient care within the NHS and beyond.

12 CME points available.
