Radiology Escape to Scottish Loch Lomond

Updated: May 17, 2023

When we started JCA Seminars 20 years ago this June, we always knew we wanted to provide our delegates with a certain comfort and experience. We aimed to create a program of dynamic, innovative training, in a friendly and enticing environment to give busy radiologists a welcome break from workplace stresses.

This has proved even more important over time. And so in celebration of this principle and in celebration of marking our 20th anniversary. We would like to invite you to a very special, four-day Radiology Retreat in Scotland. This advanced MRI Radiology Retreat will be held in the panoramic, lakefront Lodge on Loch Lomond (5-8th June 2023). Located only 30 minutes drive from Glasgow city center and with easy motorway routes, it’s an immersive radiology retreat on your doorstep.

With MSK, Neuro, Head & Neck, & Abdominal MRI & CT, and MRI spine case reviews, we'll provide advanced-level imaging practice to enhance your clinical skills, whilst in a tranquil oasis of natural wild beauty, and comfort.

Suitable for Consultant Radiologists, Registrars, and Doctors with an interest in MRI Imaging, our four-day Imaging course will provide a jam-packed CME event. We are hosting experts from across the UK, as we share cases and expertise across a diverse range of pathologies. We'll offer an MDT-style environment with discussion and exploration of the critical information to accurately identify the most appropriate treatment/s. The course will cover Abdominal MRI where we'll also review pediatric and adult abdominal emergencies - when and how to image.

Day two of the course will be MSK Spine focusing on Spinal Imaging. Moving onto Neuroradiology,

reviewing Epilepsy and cortical developmental abnormalities and Stroke on Day Three. The last day will be Head and Neck, covering the skull and anterior skull base and olfactory nerve, and the middle skull base.

This course offers up to 24 CPD/CME Credits that can be claimed in accordance with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists (6 points a day)

From our very early days of bringing vases of flowers, and cooked food to hospital training rooms, we are so delighted to be able to offer a world-class, immersive learning environment, in a place that offers complete comfort and well-being. This is what we are passionate about. With ample opportunity to relax and explore the wilds of Scotland’s natural beauty, either out on the water of Loch Lomond or enjoying the outstanding view from the confines of a deep sofa. We hope you can join us on this training retreat and we look forward to celebrating our anniversary with you there.
